The Downtown Bel Air Christmas Parade is a tradition that has been going on for nearly 30 years! This is a time where our community comes together in historic Downtown Bel Air to celebrate a special time of the year. Brought to you by Patient First, this year marks the 27th annual Bel Air Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Celebration.

Bel Air Christmas Parade Outline

2:30 pm: Concert on Main Street in front of the Courthouse
3:30 pm: Parade (down Main Street to Lee Street to Shamrock Park)
4:00 pm: Community Bonfire & Singalong in Shamrock Park, with free cookies and hot chocolate
4:45 pm: Tree Lighting at Town Hall

Scheduled to Appear

Stilt-walkers and acrobats; local high school marching bands; costumed characters and mascots; beauty queens; performance units, dancers, floats, musical groups and even some special equestrian guests, ending with The Living Christmas Tree and Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Participation in the Parade

If you are interested in applying to participate in the Christmas Parade, please review the 2016 Christmas Parade Application Form and Rules. Your application will be evaluated for content and presentation, including your description of your unit and its performance. Your application must be accepted in order for your unit to participate.
