The Belle Aire Market FAQ’s
Where should I park?
Plenty of parking is available along Main and Bond Street. Additional parking can be found at the Hickory Garage. All parking is free in Downtown Bel Air on weekends.
What happens in the case of poor weather?
The Belle Aire Market is a rain or shine event. The only circumstances which will lead to cancellation are those that are severe and/or life threatening weather conditions that may jeopardize our vendors and patrons; a decision to cancel will be made 24 hours in advance of the market. In that case we will post a message to this website and our Facebook page.
Are there onsite bathrooms?
Yes, there are onsite bathroom facilities for our patrons.
What are the accepted forms of payment?
Our vendors mostly prefer cash for your purchases, although many accept credit card payments with portable card readers. There are also several ATMs located along Main Street.
Where can I grab a bite to eat?
Main Street is home to many delicious restaurants. Walk down Main St or Bond St to see the many options Downtown Bel Air has to offer.
Is there anything for kids?
We have live music and a giant checkers/chess board that everyone is welcome to enjoy.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, of course! Please feel free to bring your leased, well-mannered dogs to enjoy the Market with you.
How do I become a vendor?
The Market accepts applications from vendors up to two weeks prior to each event. We are looking for vendors who make and sell one of a kind pieces. Some of the items the committee looks for include, but are not limited to, antique/vintage: housewares, furniture, industrial materials, linens, clothing, jewelry, and home décor; handmade: artwork, jewelry, clothing, outerwear, stationary, bath products, decorations, candles, lawn art, baby clothes, etc. If you are interested in being a vendor, click on the Vendor tab for more information.
Do you accept direct marketers to The Vintage Market?
No, at this time The Belle Aire Market will not include direct marketers.
Is the Market juried?
Yes. All applicants must submit an online application, vendor fee, and photos of their work. Vendors are carefully selected based on product quality and fit with the desired “look” of the Market.
