The Bel Air Authors and Artists Gift sale returns. More than 40 Harford County authors and artists will fill the Bel Air Armory for a one-stop holiday shopping destination on Saturday December 3rd from 10am to 3pm for the fifth annual Bel Air Authors and Artists Gift Sale.

The fifth annual Authors & Artists Gift Sale also includes live holiday performances throughout the day. On the way out the door, visitors can stop by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance table, where volunteers will wrap purchases for free. The 27th annual Bel Air Christmas parade will take place the day after the gift sale on Sunday, December 4th. Learn more about the parade here.

Shoppers on the hunt for inspired gifts will discover paintings, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, photography, glass ornaments, prints, note cards, artisan gourds and hand-sewn fabrics. Harford’s participating authors cover most fiction and non-fiction genres including historical novels, suspense, genealogy, nature, fine photo journals, children’s books as well as local poetry. Scheduled performers include Bel Air Pop Choir and Jazz Band, Theatreworks…Live!, Just for Fun Singers and cellist Megan Beichler.

New this year, artists from the ARC Northern Chesapeake Region will participate as vendors. They will offer a wide selection of paintings, prints and holiday cards. Today’s 101.9 WLIF-FM Friends and Neighbors van will be in front of the Bel Air Armory with music, games, prizes, and more. Before or after the show, stop by the new Armory Marketplace, just behind the Armory, to visit the Harford Artists Gallery.
